Sign up for the Student Plan – Help - AWA

Sign up for the Student Plan

You can sign up for the the Student Plan from the AWA website.

Please follow the steps below to sign up.

※It is not possible to sign up for the Student Plan with payment through App Store、Google play store.

※ If you are already signed up with the STANDARD plan through App Store、Google play store, please first cancel the plan and then sign up for the Student Plan from the AWA Web site.

For new sign-ups

If you are signing up for AWA for the first time, please note the following steps.

1. Access the AWA website and tap the menu

2.Tap 「 New sign-up 」

3.Register your account using any of Facebook/Twitter/email address.

4. Under plan selection, tap "Student"

5.Authenticate your email address.

・If you have registered an account using an email address, you can still authenticate with the email address used for sign-up.

・If you have registered an account using Facebook/Twitter, you will have to set a new valid email address and password.

・After tapping Send confirmation email, a confirmation email message will be sent to the specified email address.

・Tap the URL contained in the email to complete authentication.

・After authentication has been completed, return to the screen from which you sent the Send confirmation email and begin the steps again.

6. Upload Student Certificate

・Please upload a student ID that allows confirmation of student name, school name, and valid-through date.

・Photograph the student ID so that it is shown in entirety, with no part hidden.

・When the above-mentioned mandatory items are divided into 2 locations（e.g., the valid-through date is on the back of the ID）、 add a 2nd image from the upload frame that is shown after upload of the 1st image.

・ If information has been falsified, if images are confirmed to be taken from the Web, etc.or if the student ID is not recognized as valid the student price will not be applied, and the general price（¥980/month）will be automatically renewed.

7.Select the payment method and complete the sign-up.

If you already have an account

If you have created an AWA account in the past, please note the following steps.

1.Access the AWA website and tap the menu

2. Tap "Log in"

3.Log in with an account registered through any of Facebook/Twitter/email address.

4. After logging in, tap "Try for free"

・If you have already registered for the STANDARD plan through the website, please change the plan through "View details" underneath the plan name.

・If you selected "payment through carrier" when purchasing the STANDARD Plan, the plan cannot be changed to Student Plan. Please cancel your plan, return to the Free plan, and sign up again for the Student Plan.

5. Under plan selection, tap "Student"

6.Authenticate your email address.
