Google Home / Google Assistant

Setup instructions

On Google Home / devices that support Google Assistant, you can log in and use your existing AWA account. After installing the 「Google Home」 or 「Google Assistant」 app, follow the steps below to run it.

If using the「Google Home」app:

iOS

1. Complete the Google Home device setup.
2. Tap on the user icon on the bottom right of the Google Home app.
3. Select Music from Google Assistant.
4. Select AWA from the music services.
5. At this point, you will be asked to link your account, so tap on Link Account.
6. Log in to your AWA account to authenticate your access from Google.
7. Tap the radio button to the right of AWA and set AWA as your default service.

Android

1. Complete the Google Home device setup.
2. Tap on the user icon on the bottom right of the Google Home app.
3. Select Settings from general settings.
4. Select Music from the services.
5. Select AWA from the music services.
6. At this point, you will be asked to link your account, so tap on Link Account.
7. Log in to your AWA account to authenticate your access from Google.
8. Tap the radio button to the right of AWA and set AWA as your default service.

If using the「Google Assistant」:

iOS

1. Complete the Google Home device setup.
2. Tap on the user icon on the bottom right of the Google Assistant app
3. Select Music from the services.
4. Select AWA from the music services.
5. At this point, you will be asked to link your account, so tap on Link Account.
6. Log in to your AWA account to authenticate your access from Google.
7. Tap the radio button to the right of AWA and set AWA as your default service.

Android

1. Complete the Google Home device setup.
2. On your Android smartphone or tablet, press and hold the home button or say 「OK Google」.
3. Tap on the compass icon on the top right.
4. Tap on the user icon on the top right and select Settings.
5. Select Music from the services.
6. Select AWA from the music services.
7. At this point, you will be asked to link your account, so tap on Link Account.
8. Log in to your AWA account to authenticate your access from Google.
9. Tap the radio button to the right of AWA and set AWA as your default service.

AWA Account Login and Authentication

If you are using AWA for the first time

1. Select "First time? Register Here"
2. Create an account using your social media account or e-mail address.
3. Tap to enable link with Google Home.

If you already have an account and are starting by logging in

1. Login with "AWA App Login" or Social Media Account/E-mail Address.
2. Tap to enable link with Google Home.
